Intrapac Property Celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day
Captain Jack Sparrow and Wilma the Wench were on hand at Somerfield and Quay 2’s pirate playgrounds to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day events with residents.
Pirate Pearl the face painter made a special guest appearance and there was a pirate-themed jumping castle, colouring-in stations, a chocolate gold coin treasure hunt, bubbles, balloon-twisting, giant lawn games and prizes for the best dressed pirates, as well as the best pirate impersonator.
The event was organised by volunteers from the local resident’s associations, together with the help of Intrapac Property. There are many events scheduled for residents throughout the year to encourage and celebrate the unique community spirit that’s alive and well in the neighbourhood.
