With over 20 years of Property experience, Intrapac welcomed Simon to the newly created role of Acquisitions Manager in late September.

Previously heading up the Dal Zotto Property Group which focused more on strategic acquisitions and developments for selected high-net-worth private clients in addition to the company’s  own developments, Simon is excited about the new challenge ahead of him at Intrapac.  In this role Simon will be focusing on “patience purchases” by buying land early and leaving it to come to fruition – potentially even for future generations.

A born entrepreneur, Simon also launched D.O.C Distribution in 2012, offering innovative, sustainable operations to the food and beverage industry, through the concept of wine-on-tap. With an established sales team in place, the rapidly growing business now relies less on Simon’s day-to-day management – allowing him to enjoy wine socially rather than as a professional calling.

Simon’s passion for wine stemmed (no pun intended) from growing up in the family wine business – Dal Zotto Wines, the home of Australia’s first Prosecco! His passion for wine was not the only thing he learnt growing up in the family business also learning the value of hard work, integrity and working together as a team. Skills that he will use seamlessly at Intrapac and in his dealings with landowners and potential JV partners.

Away from work (and wine!), Simon loves spending time with fiancé, Georgie, 5 month old son Rafael and dog Hugo (the boss) along with keeping fit – which allows him to balance his love of food and wine! of food and wine!
